Positive event planning in uncertain times.

Summer 2020 is not going to be the season of events that we were all looking forward to, that’s for sure. But we at Utopian Tents are looking at positive ways to navigate the current situation. When and how restrictions will ease are unclear and this makes it difficult to know whether an event should be postponed or not. Having a Plan B is essential, and we recommend that our clients consider alternative ideas and give us a call to chat these through. We are pencilling in dates for you all for 2021 and taking bookings for new clients with the understanding that plans are fluid.

We are also considering ways of going ahead with events with social distancing in place, post lockdown, and again are very happy to discuss these strategies with you. Increasing the space to accommodate less guests per table, larger dance floors, individual serving, personal cups or glasses (the same system used by many festivals in recent years) are a few of the ideas we can consider.

It may well turn out that we adopt positive new ways of planning and we welcome you to join in the conversation.
